Calling all Adhearsionistas!
The Roadmap has been updated. The deadlines have been set. The excitement is palpable... Adhearsion is nearing 1.0.
On the heels of AdhearsionConf we as a project have decided that it's high time Adhearsion acknowledges that magical version number. But we still have some work to do to achieve this feat. This is where you come in: our API has stabilized and we've gained real-world experience, but our documentation hasn't seen much refinement in some time. There's still a bit of friction new users experience when coming to the project. I'd like to ask for volunteers to help make a concerted effort to update, improve, refine and tweak Adhearsion's documentation. Whether you want to put some elbow grease into the Wiki, create Screencasts, write blog posts or even supplement our RDoc comments, we need your help.
The goal is to wrap up the identified 1.0 tasks in time for a big 1.0 announcement at Astricon around October 26th. That's a little more than 3 weeks from today!
So jump on in. If you need help, suggestions or pointers, feel free to ask on this mailing list or, as always, in our active Freenode IRC channel #adhearsion.
